In the 2023–2024 academic year, Ho Chi Minh City will further push the teaching and learning of ICT following international standards as the city focuses its resources on digital transformation and building a smart city.

On the morning of March 24, 2023, more than 600 students from primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the 2022 Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Certificate Award Ceremony organized by EMG Education Group.

On the morning of March 23, the Department organized a seminar titled “Introducing English in Preschool Education Based on International Standards and Applying Technology in Language Proficiency Assessment”, with the participation of numerous experts in education, information technology, and teaching.

On June 29, 2022, in London (United Kingdom), EMG Education (Vietnam) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on educational cooperation with Pearson Education Group (UK). This collaboration creates additional opportunities for learners in Vietnam to access the most advanced technologies in the field of examination.

As part of Vietnam's official visit to the United States during the ASEAN–US Special Summit, on May 17, 2022, EMG Education and the University of California, Irvine signed a memorandum of understanding in San Francisco (USA) for comprehensive educational program collaboration. The signing was witnessed by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and senior members of the government.
