On January 5, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 93/QD-BGDDT recognizing the levels of the Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) as equivalent to the levels of the Vietnam Six-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework (VFLPF).

To prepare for the implementation and improve the teaching quality of the ICDL Digital Student program at schools in the 2023–2024 academic year, EMG Education and ICDL Vietnam organized training sessions to enhance teaching methodologies for the program. These sessions were attended by teachers from primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools across districts in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the 2023–2024 academic year, Ho Chi Minh City will further push the teaching and learning of ICT following international standards as the city focuses its resources on digital transformation and building a smart city.

On the morning of March 24, 2023, more than 600 students from primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the 2022 Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Certificate Award Ceremony organized by EMG Education Group.

On the morning of March 23, the Department organized a seminar titled “Introducing English in Preschool Education Based on International Standards and Applying Technology in Language Proficiency Assessment”, with the participation of numerous experts in education, information technology, and teaching.
