Currently, universities have announced their admissions criteria for the 2024 admissions season. Among these, the results of standardized test results (SAT, ACT) and English proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, etc.) are increasingly becoming a reliable measure of candidates' academic ability and readiness for university programs.
To help students prepare effectively for university applications in 2024, ACT Vietnam has compiled information related to the ACT test, as detailed in the following article.
List of universities accepting ACT scores for 2024 admissions
As of March 2024, nearly 40 universities have recognized ACT test scores as part of their admissions criteria for the 2024 admissions season. This list is continuously updated since each university announces its admissions plan at different times.
The updated list of universities remains largely unchanged compared to last year. However, some institutions have adjusted their ACT score requirements. For example:
- The Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (Hanoi) has lowered its ACT score requirement this year to 23/36, compared to 25/36 in 2023.
- The University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) has increased its ACT score requirement to 27/36 this year, compared to 20/36 in 2023.

Note: The number of universities accepting ACT test results may continue to increase in the future. Parents and students are advised to stay updated on admissions information through news outlets and the websites of the universities they plan to apply to.

To register for the ACT, you need to create a MyACT account and follow the steps sequentially.
