On August 19, 20, and 21, EMG Education, in collaboration with ICDL Vietnam, organized a professional training workshop for teachers from primary, secondary, and high schools across Ho Chi Minh City. This annual activity aims to prepare for the implementation and enhance the teaching quality of the ICDL Digital Student international IT program in the 2025–2026 academic year.

Training session overview
After attending the training session, teachers shared that the ICDL Digital Student International IT Program offers many strengths, including a coherent curriculum framework, consistent knowledge structure, and a comprehensive set of supporting materials and teaching tools. The globally recognized international certification brings practical benefits to both educators and learners.
The ICDL Digital Student program is designed specifically for primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary students, featuring a well-structured and selective knowledge system focused on three core areas: Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, and Digital Literacy. The program aligns with Vietnam’s new General Education Curriculum for Informatics (issued under Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDĐT by the Ministry of Education and Training) and meets the standards for IT proficiency outlined in Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
At the end of each module, students can take the ICDL International IT Certification Exam, an internationally recognized, lifetime-valid certificate accepted in over 100 countries — including developed nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Singapore, and Thailand.
Beyond its global value, the ICDL International IT Certificate also offers practical advantages in Vietnam: it is prioritized in university admissions at various institutions, recognized as a substitute for basic IT courses, and accepted as a valid replacement for IT graduation requirements at many universities and colleges.
