How admission scores are calculated
Admission score = Literature score + Foreign Language score + Mathematics score + Grade 9 Integrated English Program average score (or the Integrated English test score for Group 2 candidates).
Admissions will be based on scores from highest to lowest until each school’s quota is filled, according to each type of program.
The admission process will follow the priority order of registered preferences, from highest to lowest:
- Specialized schools (highest priority)
- Schools offering the Integrated English Program
- Other high schools
Candidates admitted to any preference who submit their enrollment online must study at that school under the registered program and will not be considered for lower preferences.
The city’s Admissions Steering Committee will not process requests to change the order or number of Grade 10 preferences after the official registration deadline.
