PEIC is a comprehensive international English proficiency certification assessing all four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing), issued by Pearson, the UK’s largest awarding organization. The PEIC exam includes six levels aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). These levels are also recognized as equivalent to Vietnam’s 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework and are used in university admissions and training according to Decision No. 93/QĐ-BGDĐT. This enables candidates to choose the most suitable level based on their goals and language ability.
The PEIC test features real-life communication scenarios and familiar question formats, helping candidates feel more confident and gradually master English effectively.
Thanks to its accurate assessment of real-world language proficiency, the PEIC certificate is recognized by many businesses, universities, and government agencies worldwide. Notably, in 2026, PEIC (Level 2) continues to be recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training for exemption from the foreign language graduation exam of the national high school exam. In addition, nearly 100 universities and academies in Vietnam now use PEIC for admission and graduation requirements at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. This number is expected to continue growing as the demand for international English certifications increases.
Expanding the network of test centers not only brings greater convenience to candidates but also opens more opportunities to access internationally recognized assessment standards, helping learners improve their English proficiency and better prepare for global integration and future development.
