Science Fair - Innovation for Global Challenges: Changing the world from small ideas
22/05/2025

After nearly a week of activities, from May 12 to May 16, the Science Fair - Innovation for Global Challenges for 7th-grade students officially concluded with impressive results and enthusiastic participation from students.

The Science Fair - Innovation for Global Challenges is part of a series of supplementary teaching and learning activities within the Integrated English Program, organized by the Math and Science teaching staff of EMG Education, alongside many other engaging academic initiatives.

The competition aims to create a healthy and inspiring environment for students who are passionate about technology and eager to find innovative solutions to both regional and global issues. It also provides students with opportunities to apply the knowledge they've acquired through practical projects and smart technology ideas.

For 7th-grade students, the competition involved working in groups and going through the entire process - from identifying problems, researching, and developing topics to presenting and receiving feedback from foreign teachers - all conducted entirely in English. Throughout this process, students developed their language proficiency, research and information evaluation skills, presentation abilities, critical thinking, and more.

The ideas presented by students in the Integrated English Program were highly diverse, tackling many current real-world problems. In addition to addressing present challenges, students also proposed various creative solutions for the future.

Hai Khoi, a student from class 7.4 at Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, shared his excitement: "The competition helped me improve my creativity and self-confidence. We also learned how to use recyclable materials to protect the Earth and address environmental issues"

With the mission of providing all Vietnamese students with opportunities for success on the international stage, EMG Education is committed to developing advanced academic programs that incorporate modern educational technology, most notably, the Integrated English Program.

The Integrated English Program delivers Math and Science lessons entirely in English, taught 100% by foreign teachers. Through this program, students are equipped with the knowledge and essential skills to become global citizens in the future.

To prepare for this role, students in the Integrated English Program are given a solid academic foundation. They are also regularly updated on global technological trends and encouraged to raise awareness of global issues, contributing to sustainable development through enriching lessons and engaging activities, such as the Science Fair - Innovation for Global Challenges.

More than just encouraging the search for technological solutions to build a more sustainable world, the Science Fair - Innovation for Global Challenges is also a valuable opportunity for students to freely explore, learn, and grow holistically in both knowledge and skills. It is also an excellent occasion to nurture their passion for science and technology.
