On October 30 (local time) in London, United Kingdom, Pearson Education and EMG Education officially announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for comprehensive educational cooperation.
The agreement focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced assessment solutions to support Vietnam’s digital transformation in education, particularly the Ministry of Education and Training’s goal of conducting the national high school graduation examination on computer-based platforms.
The signing ceremony took place solemnly in London, witnessed by General Secretary Tô Lâm, official members of Vietnam’s high-level delegation, and senior officials from the UK Government. This event marks a significant milestone in strengthening educational cooperation between the two nations.

According to the agreement, Pearson will transfer advanced assessment technologies that integrate AI applications in test bank development, automated grading, and deep data analytics. At the same time, both sides will continue to expand the Integrated Education Model, which combines Vietnam’s national curriculum (issued by the Ministry of Education and Training) with the Pearson Edexcel international framework. This initiative aims to enhance English proficiency and global integration skills for Vietnamese students.
This partnership directly supports Vietnam’s strategic educational policies and initiatives, including Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on digital transformation in education, as well as Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW of the Politburo and Decision No. 2371/QĐ-TTg recently approved by the Prime Minister on “Introducing English as a Second Language in Schools for the Period 2025–2035, with Vision to 2045.”
“We are delighted to partner with EMG Education to bring Pearson’s most advanced educational technologies to Vietnam,” said a representative of Pearson. “By combining our global expertise with EMG Education’s deep understanding of the Vietnamese education system, we believe this collaboration will drive transformative impact—supporting students and teachers in the digital era, while contributing to the nation’s key educational goals.”
Commenting on the partnership, a representative of EMG Education shared: “The signing with Pearson marks an important milestone in EMG Education’s mission to provide Vietnamese students with access to high-quality international education. This collaboration not only modernizes English teaching and assessment but also equips the young generation with essential skills to confidently integrate into the global community—helping realize Vietnam’s strategic vision for education in the digital age.”
