The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic), the world’s leading computer-based English language test, has opened 2 new test centres in Vietnam with EMG Education, one in Hanoi and one in Ho Chi Minh City, providing Vietnamese students with greater choice and access to the English language testing required to study internationally or pursue their studies within Vietnam.
The launching ceremony was held on 28th March for the Ho Chi Minh City test centre, and 29th March for Hanoi. The ceremonies were attended by senior members of the respective city’s People’s Committee, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, representatives from the UK Embassy, UK Consulate General, Senior Australian Trade Commissioner and other distinguished leaders in business and education.
With a focus on fair, impartial marking and offering results typically within 5 business days, PTE Academic scores are now accepted as evidence of English language proficiency by thousands of academic programs around the world. These include 100% of universities in Australia and New Zealand and Ireland, 95% of UK universities, most Canadian universities, and by a growing number in the USA, including Harvard Business School and Yale. PTE Academic is also accepted for all visa categories by the Department of Home Affairs in Australia as well as Immigration New Zealand.
These new PTE Academic test centres run by EMG Education will help Vietnamese students access life changing study opportunities within Vietnam as well as overseas and ultimately achieve internationally recognised qualifications and build a bright future for themselves.
